Direct answer

Machines in Alchemy Factory are researched and built, then connected by conveyor belts and pipes. In 1.0, non-production devices moved out of the Tech Tree and unlock at the Workbench instead — see Where is the Workbench?.

The official store page describes the core devices clearly: “Grind, extract, distill, smelt, and process materials. Link devices into complete production chains.” Everything below is organized by job.

Shop & logistics

1.0 added rail-based logistics (Wagon System) and a reworked shop layer: customers can now reach upper floors and you can build multiple shop gates — both changes came from the official 1.0 notes. See 1.0 systems for the details.

Machine troubleshooting in 1.0

  • Customers stuck at bottom of stairs — fixed in hotfix 1.0.4930.
  • Customers blocked by the shop flip sign — fixed in 1.0.4917.
  • Crash when producing drinks — fixed in 1.0.4917.
  • Targeting too high/low — Cannons/Catapults no longer select such targets (official 1.0).
Every machine gets a machine wiki

Each device page carries: quick answer, how to unlock, inputs & outputs, placement rules, common problems and research effects. Pending machines keep a compact entry until verified.

Independent fan reference for Alchemy Factory. Game data refers to the current official 1.0 build (Steam, PC). Field-level evidence is flagged on each page with OFFICIAL / OBSERVED / COMMUNITY badges; amounts shown without a badge come from the official 1.0 patch notes or store descriptions.
